What is Xeriscaping?

The concept of Xeriscape is based on seven principles: planning & design, limiting turf areas, selecting and zoning plants appropriately, improving the soil, using mulches, irrigating efficiently, and doing appropriate maintenance. Xeriscape is NOT ugly, brown, rocks and cactus. A properly-designed Xeriscape is lush, colorful and easy to care for.
